The ENERFIT Project

THE ENERFIT PROJECT

Low-income communities and communities of color stand to benefit from energy efficiency upgrades, healthier housing, and local job creation; yet they have not typically received explicit attention as stakeholders. The ENERFIT Project includes efforts to reach historically under-served households with energy efficiency strategies that engage behavior. Developing, implementing and adopting behavior-building strategies that have the potential to significantly improve the energy efficiency of a vast number of existing buildings is critical to attaining a clean energy future. Kriegh Architecture Studios | Design + Research is working on developing an energy use and feedback user interface for deployment in this project.
