At the Dragonfly Ridge Project, a custom home being built by Chuckanut Builders, they are pushing the envelope of what it means to build the “forever” house. We had the pleasure to visit this amazing house and see how they are building the future of homes today. Prefabricated off-site, the high efficiency, cellulose packed panels, combined with an air tight construction and a bug and fire proof siding over exterior insulation and a water proof rain screen assembly, these walls are not only highly time and energy efficient, they are built to last 100 years. If we are building the homes of the future today, maybe this is what it looks like.
