Mount Vernon Library Commons
Mount Vernon Library Commons is a Passive House certified (2025) library, public commons and parking garage, completed in 2024. HKP Architects are the prime architects, Kriegh Architecture Studios is the sustainability consultant and was especially instrumental in bringing concrete engineering to the project which made concrete part of the sustainability solution.
In addition to Passive House Certification, this project has received an AIA of Northwest Washington Honor Award.
